Jason Ammirato’s martial arts journey began at the age of 12 with Taekwondo, sparking a lifelong dedication to the discipline. After a distinguished 25-year career in the United States Army, retiring at the rank of First Sergeant, Jason transitioned his passion for leadership from the battlefield to the mats.

As the owner and Chief Instructor of Rising Phoenix Martial Arts ATA, Jason is a decorated competitor and a 4th Degree Black Belt. His recent accolades include:

• Southeast District Champion: 2023, 2024, 2025

• 7-Time State Champion: 2025

• 5-Time State Champion: 2023, 2024
